What Is Somatic Inquiry?

Somatic Inquiry is a trauma-informed approach to resolving painful mental, emotional and relational issues by addressing the root cause in the body.

Our day-to-day suffering stems from deeper wounds: unresolved survival patterns from childhood, a dysregulated nervous system and repressed emotions. 

These core wounds are held in the body. In SI, we learn to safely get in touch with those core wounds and help them to process through.

When we heal at that deeper somatic level, the issues on the surface tend to resolve themselves.

I offer one-on-one Somatic Inquiry sessions to help you safely and compassionately explore and heal the deep somatic roots of your suffering.

I draw on my own deep lived experience healing from trauma and addiction as well as my training with leading trauma therapists.

I guide you through the layers of your body-mind to uncover the root of a given issue

3) Feel it to
heal it

 

I support you to feel and rest with the painful emotions and core wounds, allowing them to be just as they are. As we rest with, listen to and feel them, they tend to unravel and dissolve.

 
 

As the core wounding dissolves, our painful symptoms, problems and triggers fade, leaving us in a state of greater freedom, peace and authenticity.
