I came to Ben seeking relief from daily suffering. I arrived in a state of disconnect – I was ruminating on unsolvable problems and using my energy in unproductive ways. In every session Ben is able to hold the space with patience and compassion. Ben has created a safe yet exciting space to explore my past traumas and the responses my body has to them. 

As someone who can be extremely self conscious, I have been surprised to feel comfortable in expressing exactly what my body needs without shame. This in itself is huge for me. Ben has witnessed me running, jumping, sobbing, twisting and being stuck to the ground, all of which have felt welcome and safe in his session.  

Ben enables intense exploration of whatever I bring to sessions, he has an acute awareness of where my (now expanding) pain threshold is. He also encourages me to continue the process in between sessions. This has led me to learn so much about myself whilst steadily expanding my capacity to feel the tricky stuff I used to avoid.

I needed to explore birth trauma and motherhood and was initially sceptical that as a man, Ben may not have the understanding or empathy for this. I was wrong. I have felt consistently well held and understood, safe to explore where needed.

For conquering long term addictions, putting two fingers up to shame and growing into my humanness, Ben’s sessions have been invaluable. I feel catapulted onto the right road where I can finally walk with back straight and my head high
